RBI Baseball Academy will be back at the Booth Field Athletic Complex in Foxboro for 3 weeks in the summer of 2010.  Camp weeks run Monday through Friday beginning at 9am and ending at 12pm (half-day campers only) or 2:30pm for full day campers.  The half-day camp is for ages 5 & 6 only while the full day camp is for ages 7-12.  The Booth Complex consists of three (3) 46’x60’ fields, one (1) 60’x90’ field, as well as an open multi-purpose area used for various drills and games.  RBI Baseball Camps are open to any player in the appropriate age range that is looking to improve his or her baseball skills.  There are no minimum skill-level requirements to participate in an RBI program, just the right attitude and a desire to work hard!!!                      

 

Camp will include the following:

 

  • 5 Days of top level instruction covering all baseball fundamentals

  • Daily baseball games and instructional drills.

  • Experienced, professional staff with low participant to instructor ratio.

  • Spacious outdoor complex with multiple fields. Indoor facilities available in event of inclement weather.

  • FREE RBI Baseball Camp T-Shirt for each participant.

Camp Staff

 

  

RBI Baseball Academy’s Summer Day Camp staff is hand picked to ensure the highest quality of instruction.  Our professional, caring staff is made up of current and former professional and college baseball players as well as current and former college and high school coaches.  Each staff member is committed to providing each participant with a safe, enjoyable experience while learning the best baseball techniques.  All Camp staff members have full CORI/SORI background checks by the state of Massachusetts.

 

Camp Director

Chris Welch
Foxboro and Rehoboth Camp Director

Coach Welch graduated from Bridgewater State College in 2001. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management. While as a starting pitcher for Bridgewater, he helped lead the Bears to NCAA regional berths in 2000 and 2001. Chris was a four year All-New England selection by the NCAA. During college Chris was a member of the Manchester Silkworms of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. After college Chris was signed to a professional contract by the Johnstown Johnnies of the Frontier League. Chris is currently a member of the Easton Huskies of the Cranberry League. Chris is a Director of the Trot Nixon Summer Baseball Camps and the Jason Varitek Winter Hitting Clinics. Chris is a native of Brockton, MA and currently resides in Rehoboth, MA with his wife Regina.

A deposit of $100 per person, per week is required in order for each camper to be registered. ($50/week for half day). 10% DISCOUNT for each additional family member
    

 

Cancellation / Insurance Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

The following cancellation policy applies to all campers unless the optional camp cancellation insurance is purchased, For further information, please see below.

All deposits are non-refundable unless notification is received 30 days prior to camp start date. Any cancellation requested after this date will result in loss of camp deposit.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE

RBI Baseball Camps is pleased to offer the optional Camp Cancellation Insurance which can be purchased for $25 per participant, per week. This insurance allows campers complete reimbursement of all camp fees (excluding insurance premium) paid to RBI for any reason 5 days prior to camp start date.

The following conditions apply:

  1. Cancellation insurance MUST be purchased when registering camper. It CANNOT be added at a later date.

  2. All payment conditions must be met in order to receive reimbursement.

  3. The cost of cancellation insurance itself will NOT be refunded.

  4. RBI must be notified of cancellation in writing or via facsimile 5 days prior to camp start date. Upon receipt, a camp cancellation notice will result in loss of participants reservation.

  5. Refunds will NOT be issued once the camp begins. NO EXCEPTIONS.
